Roanin Podkin and Dennis Yu recording at Denver International Airport, 29 August 2026

SDR · Avoca · Santa Barbara

Earn the demo before the call.

I record the operators I serve. The conversation is the proof. This site and my YouTube are how the next home-service owner already knows me.

Denver airport, 29 Aug 2026 — with Dennis Yu. 23 minutes 8 seconds on tape. Phone, no lav. Studio Sound cut is 22 minutes 15 seconds.

The job

Drive demos for Avoca by being known.

Avoca is the AI front office for home-service businesses — calls, texts, and chat that book into the CRM. My seat is sales development. The play is not a louder pitch. It is a public trail of real rooms: a first podcast, a 14er with operators, and the next conversation already on tape.

Avoca

  • Sales Development Representative, Santa Barbara office
  • Joined July 2026
  • UCSB Economics; previously ran an AI consulting practice

In the room

  • First podcast with Dennis Yu, 28 Aug 2026
  • Mt Bierstadt with Dennis Yu and Jason Amato (Omaha · Power Crew / Operations Mastery Lab)
  • Airport interview the same day — how an SDR uses the reputation multiplier

The method

Record. Repurpose. Compound.

Dennis Yu teaches a reputation multiplier: one real conversation becomes a library. The canonical name for the challenge is the Magic Berry Challenge. I am running that loop as an SDR — so a plumbing, HVAC, or electrical owner meets me as someone who already sat with people like them, not as a cold calendar link.

YouTube is mine to finish. This site is the hub. Clips, articles, and stills all point here. I will not publish a demo count, quota, or “#1 SDR” claim until the tape and the scoreboard both say it.

Dennis Yu

Teacher of the Content Factory. Recorded with me on Friday and at DEN on Saturday.

Jason Amato

Omaha operator. Power Crew / Operations Mastery Lab. On the mountain with me 29 Aug 2026.

For operators

If you run the trucks, talk to me.

I am the person at Avoca whose job is to get you a demo you actually want. The recordings are how you decide before the calendar ping.
